“Stuck somewhere between the past and creating the future.
Where do you turn when there’s no turning back and no where to go but forward.
The person I was then made the decisions of who I am today and today I choose who I will be into tomorrow.
The haze blurring the city scape mirrors the fog in my mind and the dust of Gaza.
I am my only obstacle and I will not choose defeat.”
Those were my thoughts this morning arising to the beautiful Toronto skyline. I thought about the beautiful view, buildings in tact, no bombs, no smoke or war death in the hazy air. Enter gratitude :()
I thought about the video I saw earlier of a young Palestinian shot, declaring what he must to God.
I don’t know how to think!
What can I do? That’s the question ringing over and over in my mind… What can I do?
The petition is signed
Contact my parliament? Discourage companies with buying power, pressuring with the masses to take there business and money out of Israel?
How do you personally make a difference to a historic train coming head to the wreck!?! Do we get out of the way? Let it self destruct?
We can’t there are innocent lives. The only solution I’m thinking is that I pray and meditate and encourage others to do the same and synergize with me! Like the Maharishi effect, setting the intention that our individual consciousness affects collective consciousness. Holding onto the highest possibility, peace, healing, forgiveness, love and send it to them vibrationally! If only we can speak to the youth to awake that this is a war with no winner. Stop the broken record, the story each side is holding onto so tightly! To stop fighting and now create a new reality one that both parties can benefit! If only we could speak to the soldiers and awaken them that they are fighting someone’s family, someone’s loved ones! We are all in this together, we are fighting ourselves, like vultures for scraps, only failing to realize the scraps are just that… Scraps.
We can all pray and meditate. In holding your vibration in your own highest light, you will feel love and higher emotions rippling them out through momentary actions, sending love, smiles and holding the picture of perfect peace for them. Will this make a difference? Honestly? I don’t know, it can’t hurt and science has backed up with research that intentions, prayer and meditating have helped and improve situations non violently. So I will do this myself, and invite you to do the same if even for a few moments. I create a space in my thoughts that a peaceful new reality can inspire Israel and Palestine to live together as friends, neighbors and both share and be prosperous… And still I ask,
“What Can We Do?”
